An August love affair

As the month of August brings the summer heat to its peak, it also brings the warmest tones to the boldest colours. I wanted to take this opportunity to show off nature's beautiful surroundings by contrasting against the traditional Ibicencan architecture. Of course my series couldn't be complete without the soft lines of a woman's presence.

Shot on my Canon-AE 1 at dusk along with kodak portra 160 film. My film got slightly damaged during the developing and scanning stages which has shown some scratches, dust marks and chemical stains on a lot of the photographs. Although I was at first disappointed i'm now growing to accept their imperfections. I think it really gives that authentic feel and it reminds me why I love film so much.
